Class Description

Campus COVID-19 Interviewer is responsible for performing the initial interview of campus persons (students, staff, and faculty) with COVID-19 symptoms, probable or confirmed COVID-19 infection to gather information necessary to provide guidance according to college procedures, follow up with HR Benefits Team or College Life and health guidance from CCBC's third party vendor. Candidates must be able to work both onsite locally and remotely with ready access to high-speed internet to support remote work. Candidates must be proficient in the use of mobile phones and Microsoft Office applications. All candidates must successfully complete qualified contact tracing course approved by CCBC. After course completion, position will initially be 100% remote.

Minimum Requirements

Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/GED plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study.

Multiple vacancies available at multiple locations: Catonsville, Dundalk, Essex, Hunt Valley, Randallstown, and Owings Mills.

Shift Schedule: Varied/up to 19.5 hours week, between the hours of 8:30 am - 8:00 pm, 7 days.

Class Specific Essential Duties

  1. Respond to COVID-19 reports via electronic portal.
  2. Efficiently conduct outbound calling.
  3. Assist and provide information to members of the CCBC community related to COVID-19.
  4. Perform contact tracing duties such as contacting individuals diagnosed with COVID-19, interviewing them about their interactions on campus, assessing their symptoms, and recommending for testing explaining next steps per established CCBC protocols.
  5. Accurately enter interview data into a database and follow all CCBC policies and procedures.
  6. Follow-up with individuals on a case-by-case basis as appropriate.
  7. Produce daily reports for CCBC's HR Benefits team and College Life for follow up
  8. Adhere to and follow all HIPAA, FERPA, and OSHA guidelines.
  9. Works as an individual contributor.
